The United Fund supports a network of local, Warren County agencies that build character in our youth, assist the elderly, provide basic human service needs and offer assistance and comfort in times of disaster.

Don Mills Achievement is proud to be a United Fund participating agencies.

n Friday, October 2, 2020 the 2020 Torchlight campaign kicks off. For the last 7 years we have held an in-person kickoff centered around the theme of potatoes, which dates to the early 1900s when the community would hold food drives for the Salvation Army. You could enter the Library Theatre by donating one large potato to watch a black and white silent movie. We brought back that concept and added activities such as potato peeling contests, potato sack races, and showings of the black and white silent movies. With COVID we cannot have the event in person, but we did want to do something, and we think we have come up with an idea that will be fun and entertaining for the community. We have prerecorded some of these good-natured fun activities and put it all into a fun filled video which will be posted to our social pages on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube on Friday, October 2, 2020, the date the campaign kicks off. Please check it out to see some of the silly nonsense we get in to.

Your help is needed. The campaign will continue until the goal is reached, and your contribution will make sure that all the agencies can receive their full allocations from the Fund.
